Hospital partners with dining service to deliver on fresh food pledge

Frisbie Memorial Hospital has partnered with Unidine dining services, a food and dining management services company, to bring locally sourced fresh food to Frisbie.

Staff, patients, and visitors now enjoy a farm-to-table dining experience with food made from scratch without chemicals, additives, and preservatives. Through Unidine’s relationship with local farmers, Frisbie is also able to host throughout the summer months, Unidine's Farm to U Farmer's Markets featuring fresh, locally grown produce as well as freshly baked breads and pastries.

"Frisbie Memorial Hospital has embraced Unidine's Fresh Food Pledge and their scratch cooking philosophy," said Frisbie Memorial Hospital clinical dietitian Amy Doucette in a statement. "Unidine has transformed the culinary experience at Frisbie, enhancing our commitment to residents, staff and the community."
