Health site names UCLA healthiest college

Nominations via social media helped determine rankings.

April 13—The website Greatist has released its ranking of the 23 healthiest schools, with the University of California, Los Angeles leading the pack.

The rankings were scored based on nominations from the site's readers through social media. The site also consulted survey results from College Prowler and The Princeton Review to choose the 25 schools from an original list of nearly 100. From there, the site scored each school individually on a 100-point scale that weighed food, fitness, health services and programming . The scale took into "account everything from accessibility to innovativeness and paid special attention to the quality of those services."
