In his new position, Mello provides the company’s operations team, area managers and senior management with the tools, information and reports needed to oversee their areas of responsibility. During his 12 years with FitzVogt, Mello served as food service director at Alden Place in Fairhaven, Mass., an assisted living facility, as an area manager and then district manager. As a district manager, he managed three area managers and 35 accounts in locations ranging from northern Vermont to Connecticut.
Mello is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University with degrees in culinary arts and business.
