District uses student feedback to expand vegetarian options

Broward County Public School District in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., is using student feedback to determine which vegetarian options to offer for lunch next year, Sun Sentinel reports.

In the past, the district has tried to incorporate vegetarian items. Its cafeterias once served veggie burgers and hosted meatless Mondays, but both were discontinued due to poor sales.
