The new business school at Providence College in Providence, R.I., has debuted a cafe that doubles as a late-night eatery, The Cowl reports.
Eaton Street Cafe houses three concepts with the goal of attracting both students and faculty. The concepts include a deli offering a selection of local meats, Sandella’s, which serves paninis, quesadillas, burritos and flatbread sandwiches; and The Grill, which offers traditional grilled items such as burgers and chicken sandwiches.
“Faculty members don’t want the same menu as the students,” Sodexo General Manager Stu Gerhardt told the student newspaper. “What we knew is that we needed a menu that would attract both the business school audience and the kids.”
After hours, customers are able to purchase food from The Grill via a takeout window that’s open until 2 a.m. The Grill’s late-night menu consists of items not offered elsewhere on campus, such as curly fries, chicken tenders and tater tots. The Grill also opens at 8 a.m. and offers a variety of breakfast items.
