GLENVIEW, Ill.—By offering lots of menu choices — including soda — in cafeterias in Glenbrook High School District 225, officials hope students will stay in for lunch and boost the meals program.
But the wisdom of making unhealthy foods available was questioned this week as the program's status was detailed.
"I don't believe you have to give [the students] all the choices," board member Scott Martin said after learning that soda was offered.
