Sept. 12—The Association for Healthcare Foodservice is once again celebrating National Healthcare Foodservice Workers Week—Oct. 3-9—with a video contest. The association is looking for short, original videos that showcase how members celebrate during the week. The winning facility will be featured on AHF’s YouTube channel.
AHF says National Healthcare Foodservice Workers Week honors healthcare food and nutrition professionals in self-operated facilities and the teams who demonstrate every day why self-operation is in the industry’s best practice.
“National Healthcare Foodservice Workers Week is an excellent opportunity to recognize and thank those dedicated individuals who provide exceptional services in healthcare facilities across the United States,” said AHF President Patti Oliver in a press release. “AHF’s YouTube channel is a great platform for sharing our appreciation with our members and the public, allowing them to access it whenever it is convenient for them.”
Last year’s winning video was submitted by the University of Missouri Health System. You can view that video and upload your video for the contest at AHF’s YouTube channel here.
