March 25—The agenda for the Society for Foodservice Management’s 2010 Critical Issues Conference, which will be held on April 15 in New York City, has been released.
The agenda is built around the theme “Health and Workplace Wellness: Issues and Solutions,” and for the first time the conference will be linked live via video conference to Seattle so SFM members on both coasts can “attend.” The Seattle conference will be held at Microsoft.
The agenda includes sessions covering the continuing threat of obesity and the government impact on your operation’s bottom line. There will also be a session devoted to hearing from SFM members and representatives from operations such as Hearst and NYU Medical Center discuss their challenges and solutions. The conference will conclude with a session that takes a look at managing in the tough economic climate.
