$19 million renovation of UMass dining hall complete

The Lincoln Campus Center features new options including a tamales station, brick oven pizza and sushi bar.

BOSTON — The UMass Building Authority said it has completed a $19 million renovation of Lincoln Campus Center, a dining hall at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

New options in the school’s Lincoln Campus Center include a Tamales station, a People’s Organic Café and Bakery, “fresh brick oven pizza, and a full sushi bar,” the authority said.

“This is the next generation of retail dining,” Ken Toong, the authority’s executive director of auxiliary enterprises, said in a statement. “We offer fresh, less-processed, just-in-time meals with local ingredients.”
