To generate participation during our hot summer months, I sent a questionnaire to employees asking them what they'd like to see as a special reward for the day when the temperature hit 100°F. Everyone agreed they wanted smoothies offered at a $2 special price the first 100°F day. The first person to call and report the 100°F mercury mark will receive a free smoothie.
