We are the first district to be recognized as a Kentucky Proud school, which means we order a lot from local farms. We put up big posters with photos of our local farmers in our cafeterias. We also put up my photo because I wanted the kids to recognize who their school nutrition director was. I get all kinds of special requests now that the kids recognize me.
