Each month we were printing out lots of low balance letters. We realized we were using a lot of paper and ink to send out those letters, which eventually would end up in the trash. Now, we use a calling system through our POS system to call parents to let them know about the low balance in their accounts. Not only is this more “green,” but we get a better response from parents than we did with the letters.
