The best way to get great, practical recipe ideas is to involve staff. Working with the product lines we currently use, we created recipe contests for our school staff. We provide the ingredients and we set the rules. We select judges and hold a cook-off. The result is a variety of menu ideas using existing inventory items. We award prizes and give credit to the person when the item is featured on our menu.
