We switched to trayless dining this year. Instead of just
throwing the trays out, we decided to donate them to The Child Care Coalition
of Lake County. The trays will be distributed to teachers and preschool
directors who attend the college’s annual early childhood conference. The trays
can be used in a number of ways for young children, and this way they don’t end
up in the landfill.
