Part of our mission is to reduce waste and be good stewards of our resources. To that end, we donate any leftover food from both the patient line and cafeteria to a food bank. Every day, food bank volunteers come pick up the meals. A lot of the food banks don’t have facilities to prepare food, but now they can get quality meals from us. Last year we donated 46,000 pounds of food.
