We had a culinary competition in which we invited people from the community to participate. It was a way of engaging the community and it got the commanders and chefs from the base involved with the department at the hospital. The winning recipe was added to the menu. In the future I want to engage the foodservice folks from the Air Force base to compete against the hospital staff in an Iron Chef competition.
