We do a Cookies for Vets program where we take fresh-baked cookies to the veterans once a week. We work with the nursing staff and volunteers to deliver the cookies. They always look forward to seeing the cookie lady. The staff enjoys the interaction with the patients and the patients enjoy the treat. We do some baking on the floors so the patients can smell the cookies.
