When we plan a special event, we also add the event to the calendar that’s on the university’s website. We’ve found that local media check that calendar and we’ve gotten coverage of some events as a result. Two recent events were our Local Harvest Dinner and a Carnival Lights Dinner that was held in conjunction with University Winter Homecoming Week. Both were covered by the local newspaper and TV news teams.
