We have a four-week cycle menu. To make it easy for students and parents to know what is for lunch, I color code the menu. The first week is red, the second is green, then blue and yellow. I put the colors on the school calendar, which is then printed on a magnet. Once the magnet goes on a student’s refrigerator, it stays there all year and they know what is for lunch each day.
