MenuDirections 2013 Day 1: Dine-Around

Attendees get a taste of three Tampa restaurants in Ybor City.

The Dine-Around gave MenuDirections 2013 attendees a chance to try cuisine from three distinctive Tampa restaurants in its historic Ybor City.

Columbia Restaurant, one of the stops on the Dine-Around, is the oldest and largest Spanish restaurant in Florida.

The menu for the night at Columbia featured paella with chicken, stuffed peppers and a lobster croquette.

The Blue Dine-Around group enjoyed Columbia's food and drinks, perhaps a little too much. For more, click here.

Bernini of Ybor, located in a refurbished bank, offers eclectic Italian cuisine.

US Department of Veterans Affairs' Gordon Lippe enjoys the food and beverages at Bernini.

The menu at Bernini featured Italian favorites such as Pork osso buco with a saffron risotto and bruchetta with fresh mozzarella.

At Carne Chophouse, a Latin-influenced steakhouse, attendees enjoy some fresh sangria, while waiting for their food.

Cheers to MenuDirections 2013!

The elegant comfort food at Carne Chophouse featured shaved prime rib.

Back at the hotel, attendees try treats from the Bunge truck as part of the after-hours event.

Mini churros offered attendees something sweet at the end of the night.

Texas Pete tempted attendees with some spicy shots at the Dine-Around after hours.
